Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2026-08-02
PagePiece is a reading app. We keep book files on your device unless you choose a third-party storage provider. Our sync service stores reading progress and account session data so you can continue reading across devices.
What we store
- Local library metadata on your device.
- Reading progress for synced accounts.
- Authentication and subscription verification data needed to operate sync.
What we do not store
- Your full book files on the PagePiece sync server.
- Your third-party provider credentials in plain text.
Advertising
When you use PagePiece without an active subscription, the app may request non-personalized ads from Google AdMob. PagePiece always marks these requests as non-personalized, so ad selection is not based on your past activity or an advertising profile. Google and its partners may still process device identifiers, approximate location, app interactions, diagnostics, and other information needed to provide and measure ads, limit how often an ad is shown, and prevent fraud. Learn more in Google's partner sites policy.
Where required, PagePiece asks for advertising consent before requesting an ad and provides an in-app advertising privacy option for reviewing or changing that choice. If no AdMob ad is available, PagePiece may show a clearly labeled promotion linking to another app from the same developer. That fallback promotion does not use an advertising profile.
Account deletion
You can permanently delete your account and synced data inside the app or through the instructions on our account deletion page. Books stored only on your device are not affected.
